About Our Opportunity

The Board is currently seeking applications for one full-time Member position as follows:

  • One Member possessing professional legal qualifications (e.g., J.D. or LL.B.) or equivalent.

 

About You

As a full-time Member of the Board, you must have the ability to chair and/or participate as a panel member in quasi-judicial public hearings, often involving sensitive and controversial matters, ensuring that fairness, good judgment, and independent decision making is applied.  You are a professional with senior leadership skills, demonstrated commitment to diversity and employment equity, excellent decision-making skills, excellent verbal and writing skills, and possessing at least five years of post qualification experience.  You must be in good standing with your professional association.  This position is based in Halifax and will require travel throughout the province.

Starting salary:  $160,611.62/approximate annual salary.  In addition, the Board offers a comprehensive benefits package.
